This is the two most effective tools to reach target online audiences easily.In this digital era, targeting an audience online is just like swimming in the ocean to find an island. Audiences in the digital era use the internet and online platforms like Youtube, Instagram and Facebook to operate business online and set up their own accounts and create advertisements to advertise their business and individuals. Other than having an interesting content and layout is very important, if the audience that opens up the webpage has no needs or interest in the content. The audience will probably leave the sites and proceed with other sites that they have interest in. For example, a person that was hungry saw a restaurant’s advertisement online that they can dine in and have a decent meal but compared to an audience that has already eaten and still saw the same advertisement online, the advertisement would not be that effective.
There are two tools to get to the correct target audience, first is using the advanced targeting option in google ads and social media ads. The advanced targeting options helps to find the targeted audience that has the interest in the particular content based on the audience demographics like age, gender, education, interest and locations. As every information has been recorded by the online platform including the search history and the time spend of the audience on particular video, the platform will make use of it and promote advertisement that is related to increase the effectiveness of the advertisement. For example, searching for a restaurant nearby will be base on the location address and children’s clothes will be based on the search history of a parents. By using the tool, there will be less effort needed to spend time on finding the right audience online.

Other than that, the advanced targeting options in the online platform will also keep track with the audience based on the analysis to further optimize the advertising campaigns. For example, when the rate of effectiveness has shown to be lowering in the analysis. Individuals can choose to purchase for another push to increase the advertisement number to appear on the screen of the audience.
The second tool is using hashtags, having a brand to become a hashtags will allow the audience to find the particular brand more effectively. For example, searching #Chicken burgers on an online platform like Google or Facebook will pop out the full name of the brand which is McDonald. Having a specific name for the hashtags will broaden the reach of social media content.
In the nutshell, these tools are just playing a supporting role in targeting the audience online. Having a good and interesting content are the most primary causes that secure the stay or leave of the audience online.
